2155 Marsh Ln, Suite:124, Mickey's Day Care Install Underground Fireline Work Performed: • Sawcut Concrete and Excavate Trench for Pipe for the Underground Lead-In • Connect to Existing 24” Underground Main from the City Utilizing a Hot or Wet Tap • A 24” x 6” Tapping Tee or Stainless-Steel Tapping Sleeve Will be Used • Install 6” Tapping Valve • The Tapping Valve is a Non-Rising Stem Gate Valve with a Roadway Box • Install Approximately 60’ of 6” Blue Brute Pipe with No Offsets • Install a 6” Stainless Steel Spigot • PVC Pipe is Blue Brute C-900, DR – Slip Joint • Pour Thrust Blocks • Center Load Pipe • Install Mega Lugs at Fittings • Provide Sand or Gravel Bedding as Required COMPLETING WORK • Pressure Test Work as Required • Back Fill with Dirt Removed • Compact Back Fill in Lifts • Clean Up and Haul Off SURFACE REPAIR • Concrete Surface to be Repaired by Chief Underground Services • Placing #4 Dowels in Existing Concrete at 12” Centers • Placing #4 Rebar 18” on Centers in Pour Back Area • Concrete Thickness to Match Existing up to 8” MATERIALS USED • Underground Pipe to be PVC Blue Brute C-900, DR-14 Slip Joint • Underground Fittings to be Small Body Ductile Iron Mechanical Joint • Restraints to be Mega Lug or Similar • Underground Valves to be Non-Rising Stem Gate Valves • All Material to be UL or FM Approved for Underground Work • 6” Valve • 6” Stainless Steel Spigot
