The customer requires a system for four access-controlled doors, as there is no existing access system on site. JCI will
install one new Kantech panel with HID Signo 20 readers, which support various credential
technologies, including HID Mobile Access via Bluetooth. Two existing electric strikes will be
reused, while JCI will provide and install two new electronic door-locking hardware. ACS-01 will
receive a new REX motion detector, REX button, card reader, and electric locking hardware, with
composite and 18/4 cabling. ACS-02 will receive a new card reader and reuse the existing door
strike (HES-5000), with 18/6 cabling. ACS-03 will receive a new REX motion detector, REX
button, card reader, and electric locking hardware, with composite and 18/4 cabling. ACS-04 will
receive a new card reader and reuse the existing door strike (HES-5000), with 18/6 cabling.
To enter a controlled door a valid car must be present to the card reader, the electric lock will
unlock releasing the door. To exit, operating the exit device will release the door
